Family Camp!

We're all packed and ready to go to Calistoga, California for a week of family camp! Mountain Home Ranch is the name of the camp and I'm adding a few pictures so you can see where we'll be. Lake, pools, sulfur springs, fishing, no TV or media! Heaven! On to top it all off, my dear and wonderful friend Cory and her three girls are going too! Yea! Annie and I were upgraded from a rustic cabin to the lodge (pictured above) with our own bathroom, and I can't tell you how excited Annie and I are! I'm so glad I went ahead and registered for camp with this San Francisco Bay Area group since we will be moving up there in less than a month. I've brought watercolors for both of us, Annie's fishing pole, and a few good books. Oh, and my camera. Who knows what we'll get up to. Mostly I want to relax, connect with Annie, and not think about moving. Hope everyone has a great week!

That sounds like my kind of camping. Usually I camp in a tent with an air matress, which seems like an upgrade from when I camped without one as a kid. Your version of camping sounds very nice. Camping in a cabin. Hmmm...I may have to look into this idea for future possible camping adventures. Have fun!
I can't wait to see your photos. I hope you get a chance to do some watercolors. Enjoy!
