Annie and I spent the day sewing. I finished a set of cloth napkins and some darling baby items for baby William, Annie's upcoming nephew. I also made her this new nightie. Annie worked by my side and made some wonderful clothes for a doll.

Oh, I'd love to have a nightie like that. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy! It's a simple pattern that I have used for years to make nighties for Annie and myself. I copied it from a $12.99 cotton nightie that I got on a Mervyn's sale rack almost ten years ago!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could sew.
I am sure that Annie looks spectacular in it. She is such a preety little girl.
ReplyDeletePatrice,
ReplyDeleteDid you sell dresses made out of pillow cases at the Homeschooler's Fair that Pam set up? When I saw the dress on this post, it reminded me of the dress we bought at the fair. The dress on your post is lovely. It's so neat you make this kind of stuff with your daughter too.
Ooops, I didn't realize it was a nightie. I'd wear it in public.
ReplyDeleteI've made pillow case dresses before Kristen, but not for the homeschooling fair. I like working with knits for nighties so they have a little stretch in them!
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty that she should wear it either in the day or night.
