Annie is considered an artist-in-residence at a clay studio in Berkeley and she was part of a group show this past weekend. The show was called Under the Sea, and Annie had two pieces on exhibit. Over 500 people saw the show that day!I was so excited to go and celebrate with her and the other artists that I wore a festive dress, Annie chose my earrings, and my new sexy shoes. We ate appetisers and enjoyed the general scene. Here are two pictures of Annie. Her pieces are Coral with Blue Crab and the Shark on the Underwater Volcano. (Right over her shoulder in both photos.)
Thanks Kristin! I think Annies work is great too! The shoes are by Ariat. Called Shalimar. I got them in Los Gatos, and I think you can get them online easily. I have foot trouble so it's hard for me to find shoes that work for me. Cross your fingers these will be great.
Naseem was so sorry to miss seeing Annie at the opening. Unfortunately, we got there on the late side :( Kevin and crew really do a fantastic job helping our artists to bloom! Hope to see you both soon!
Annie certainly looks happy. And what we could see of the pieces, look very accomplished.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are wonderful.
Tres chic!
ReplyDeleteAnnie must have wowed them, wish we could have seen it "live"!
Sounds like fun!! It's so nice that you and Annie share the creative spirit!
ReplyDeleteAnnie's clay shark and mermaid are excellent. I can't believe how well she shaped them.
ReplyDeleteI adore your new shoes. Where did you get them?
