Birthday Gift

Annie's been invited to her dear friend Grace's birthday. The theme is turtles. Annie's so excited! Grace is one of those kids that is as comfortable in water as she is on the back of her pony. A real joy to watch! I've made this small watercolor as her gift. I'm never sure what to do for birthday gifts? Ak! Buying gifts, yuck! I don't want more stuff, does anyone else? So if I can make a gift I will. I hope she isn't disappointed that it's not a toy.

Wow, that is so pretty! You're super talented.

I'm in the process of doing a write up with tutorials for this year's birthday present... a personalized library bag (complete with little pocket for library card), embroidered bookmark (also functions as a card) and a "This Book Belongs To" stamp.

Also, my daughter just saw your painting and said, "That is so cool! I'd like that."

That is a gift that will last a lifetime. If not in reality, then in memory. Something tells me that it will go up on the wall the night it is received. Very Charming!

Very nice custom painting!
I'd love a gift like that...so, I think others would feel the same.
