Annie and I have signed on to do the Home Schooler Craft Fair tomorrow. We have been busy making all sorts of goods. Annie has made a series of watercolor greeting cards, and some one-of-a-kind key chains , plus a banner and some ornaments. I've made some boxes, ornaments, cards, "peace, blessing and joy" banners, pencil holders and some little altars. Whew! I'm glad to be done, and curious how it will turn out. Part of the proceeds go to the BerkeleyWomen's Drop-in Center for homeless women and their children. I have also made a big pot of soup for the Soup Sale. Turkey Vegetable. I'll let you know how it turns out!
Our HS craft and concert is tonight! So excited!! I love Annie's watercolor cards, we were supposed to get down to making cards yesterday but I was tired of thinking up the traditional glitter, green and red. We'll be borrowing Annie's and your creativity and will be watercoloring later today! Thanks for the inspiration! I'm so excited!
I was born on April 1st in Berkeley, California. I'm enjoying a life full of satisfaction and challenge alongside my dear friend and partner, Bill, and our almost twelve year-old daughter, Annie. We have a great house and garden that we share with two dogs, nine canaries, and three fire bellied toads. We are choosing a path of living that holds everyone's needs as precious and equal. We're loving an unschooling approach to education for Annie and ourselves. We're trying to live a life with the least amount of negative impact to the enviornment. One way we're doing that is we're really trying to be mindful about what we buy, how we travel, and how we care for ourselves. I will post my ideas, challenges, and celebrations for doing so on this blog. I would love to hear any of yours too!

Wonderful!
I love seeing all of the things you do. What a rich assortment of craft projects!
I especially like the notepaper. The colors are wonderful. Wish I was there to buy something.
