My friend Alison gave me a wonderful idea for a new holiday tradition. Take a string of fresh popcorn, some chopped apples and maybe some bird seed or nuts, and go decorate on and around a tree (or a bush or shrub) in nature somewhere so that the birds (and other animals) can have a holiday feast! I love the idea and we're going to start by stringing the popcorn tonight.Saturday, December 23, 2006
